I'm planning to take in a Royals game, as they take on the Cleveland Indians.
Anyone want to experience cellar-dwelling baseball at it's best? One of baseball's most beatuful stadiums awaits you!!
See 3rd-baseman Alex Gordon, before he gets famous and ends up in Yankee pinstripes!!
What do ya' think??

So far, whenever you've attended a game this season, the Home Team has won the game, and the Royals need all of that Luck that they can get!!

I could bore you guys to death by telling you that the Royals actually do have a great nucleus of young players that are going to get this team back on track to becoming at least respectable in the standings, but considering they are sitting with the 31st best record in the league at 9-19, I think I'll pass.
But yes, if you have time, it's definitely worth checking out Kauffman Stadium. It's a very different looking ballpark and now one of the oldest in the league, but we like it (although I was an advocate of building a new stadium downtown along with the huge construction renovation).
BTW, Kauffman Stadium (and Arrowhead Stadium, where the Chiefs play right next door) are located very east of downtown KC just off where I-435 and I-70 intersect.

It's also worth mentioning that Kauffman is one of the few stadiums, in any sport, that hasn't sold naming rights to the park.
It's still named after the man who brought championship baseball to Kansas City. A noble thing in an age when corporate money talks.
