So I made this huge mistake by not looking at the eBay auction properly and ended up buying 1 ticket instead of two for Jones Beach. I thought I was getting two tickets, but the auction was for one ticket. I paid through the nose for this ticket as it is in Orch A Row A center seat. So basically I bought the best seat in the house one could argue.

Two things were on my list to do for this tour, see Rush first row once again as the last time I did that was at Radio City in 83 and MSG in 82. The other was to see Rush in Toronto something I have yet to do and which I am going on 9/19.

So here is the dilema, I am going with my g/f to all the shows and we originally bought on the pre-sale a pair in Orch G Row PP for Jones Beach, which is our hometown show. So now I have this one ticket that I got soaked on and would be crazy to part with in 1st row and the other pair in G. I have friends who will take the pair in G for what I paid, so that is not a problem. Should I give my friends that pair and see if I can get another single somewhere in Orch A or B and just have my g/f stand with me in 1st row? I have not been to a show where anyone really sits at the beach, so what should it matter? Or should I try and sell the 1st row and try to get another pair in A or keep the pair in G. I hate to say it but I paid $900 for the single and it was my fault for not looking at the quantity of tickets for auction and I was committed. I was totally crushed and felt like the biggest ass when I realized it. Any advice?

Get your G/F another ticket in the same section and hope for the best. Maybe she can stand with you but -hey, you're there for Rush... with that seat - do whats right man! There are always other concerts to hang with the G/F.

I actually did sell this ticket...broke my heart. Good thing is I got a little more than I paid for it, then was able to buy a pair in Orch C row E for this show and really sweet pair in Loge 78 row A at the Garden and I still had a few bucks left over! I know sneaking my g/f up wasn't the cool thing to do, so I did what I thought was right.

Nice! Did you get those seats during one of the pre-sales or public sale?
