We got our tickets in the mail last week. Loge section 11, row D seats 1 & 2. I'm thinking those seats might actually be first row in that area, it looks like the raised area where the hockey players go back to the locker room. Floor seats in row B came up during the presale, but I passed on them because of not having a floor layout and not being sure they were second row. Thanks to Brian's post, I'm happy I passed, as anything further back from about row 5 on the floor I really don't like.
The wife and I will be driving up from Maine on Friday, taking in the show, then driving down to Montreal Saturday for the next show, which I have yet to get tickets for.
Are there any good tenting sites (preferably provincial parks, not commercial) in the Quebec area? We would like to camp out.
Quebec City Tourism will send you an excellent free
Camping Guide. We also are traveling to QC, From Halifax, Nova Scotia. If I can find an affordable hotel/motel I will book it, otherwise it's slumming with tent folk.
It's funny you mentioned you are in "Loge section 11, row D seats 1 & 2" These were the seats I thought I was buying but they sent me seats in the Mezzanine section (Section 12-Row D-Seat 4&5). DOH! I don't care, after waiting 20+ years to see Rush live again, I'd be happy to see them from the parking lot!
Now we wait for the setlist. Geddy mentioned he was concerned about being able to sing the songs on tour. I'm not sure if he is talking about the new music or some of the "gems" they plan on playing this tour. I've been a fan of Rush since 1977 and have trouble listening to the older stuff. Don't get me wrong, I love most of the songs, I've heard them so much over the years I'm kind of sick of hearing them. I find my mind wanders because I know every note and drum beat. I will be happy if the play Snakes & Arrows and Counterparts in their entirety!!!
I will choose a path thats clear
I will choose freewill
