Well, I'm going but not before I got it up the ass from TICKETBASTARD
Got on first thing - called up 1st row, go to check out - ERROR
go in again, got 2nd row- go to check out - ERROR
again I go in, this time I am f'ing STEAMED - 5th row - ERROR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then, I finally get a FL2, Row K, check out fine and my total charge is $174??? WTF
Now I am on hold with TB trying to sort this mess, plus the other mess I have with the Ottawa order!!!

Oh well, at least I ended up with a half decent seat!!! BigshiteatinGrin.gif
Sad about my 1st and 2nd row loss though..........sad.gif
Peter Griffin
I'm there. FLR 3, row G, not bad. Like RG, I also had a row B ticket in the
queue but got the same error message (sorry to hear about that, RG).

Please let us know what you find out about the $79.50 shipping, RG. Thanks.
I just tried to pull up another ticket and now the shipping charge is free.
Bastille Night
I wasn't planning on going, but changed my mind. Floor 1, Row D, Seat 12.

T'was a pain in the ass, but worth the hassle!
RUSHGIRL
I will be sitting in section FLR2, row G - seat 9!!

OK, got it all worked out.
If you got the $79 charge for shipping, better go into your account on TM and check.
I had extra tickets - one of them I cancelled as it was section 104, row A, and my order was for a FLR3, Row J.

FLR3 Row J is a spare for me, so if anyone is looking, PM me!!!

I was getting pissed off at not getting any decent options in Toronto, so I checked out the London tickets on a lark. That one came up, so I took it! Woohoo!

Still need Calgary, and hopefully an upgrade in Toronto, then I'm done buying tickets. Then it's time to start planning travel! Yeesh!!

Labatts = uckeyface.gif
Try some good beer like Sleeman, Creemore Springs, Alexander Keiths - that is GOOD beer.
Never been a Labatts drinker smile.gif
Dr Raven
Yah, not a fan of Labatts either. I'm more liken the Dutch Water (Heineken).

Or you could try some Geddy's Hops!!!

Luckily the JLC serves Keith's on tap.......... 9 Canuck bucks for a big one, not bad for good beer.
red tide
I'm not a big Labatt's guy either, but out of reverence to the important role it played in my college days, I must hit the brewery.
Beaver Eagle
I'm going too, getting closer and really looking forward to my second show. Still looking for some closer tickets, working on third row but waiting for price to come down!!!

Any meet-ups planned at all?

I'm a Labatt fan! Actually, I'm a fan of most beers whether they are good or not.

I'll be looking forward to London even more after this weekend in Ohio has come and gone.

Is there a bar that CPers can head to after the show. At Indy, we were itching to talk Rush after the show with other Rush fans and wound up in a horrid bar listening to a karaoke version of Mr. Crowley. Yikes! We can set this up in advance so this kind of experience is not duplicated!

This is where I sometimes go before a show. It's right across the road from the JLC:

Helllllllloooooooooooooooooooo London!

I'll be dere!
RUSHGIRL
I'll have to beg off any meet-ups prior to as I'll have my 8 year old daughter with me and taking her to a bar is a wee bit inappropriate.

I think she and I will just go have a nice dinner together before the show and spend mommy daughter time!!!!!!!!!!!
zidaneisabutthead
I'm there. I'll be making the 6 1/2 hour drive from Ottawa on Tuesday.........I think I'm sitting in section 104 or 105, on Geddy's side. My old boss got me the tix.........he works at the JLC.......I hope he gives me a backstage tour of the place!

Don't expect much from the London show. The crowd will be lame ass, you can't stand, it's really different from the US shows. Last concert I was at there, I got told to sit down even though people were standing further away. Got popcorn thrown at me because I was standing. Just be forewarned, it will be the low part of this tour.
Dr Raven
Londonguy... you may be right, but hopefully that won't be the case. Everyone was standing for the Yes/Dream Theater show I saw a while back, and for Def Leppard, and for Judas Priest (opening act Anthrax had to work hard to get everyone off their butts though). It's been 26 years since Rush have been to London (last time was '81 for the MP tour at the now defunct London Gardens) so I'm really hoping we Londoners can all give The Boys a good reason to come back for the next tour!

Dr Raven

Add three more to the list! Me, Baskin, and Phred. smile.gif

Baskin & I will be in section 5 floors. Phred'll be up on Ged's side, whooping it up for the Gedster!

See you tomorrow!!!
Huskerspheres
My plans have changed a bit. Still doing both Toronto shows and now adding the Ottawa show. Originally was going to do the mixer and tribute band, so a great ticket became available, so I figured I needed to take advantage.
